Discussion Topics PTO Announcements PTO Read-A-Thon FundraiserFebruary 26 to March 5, 2010
We want all students to "dive" into reading and adventure! Everyone wins when they read! Envelopes went home on Friday February 26, 2010. Please use the envelopes to track your child's reading daily, as well as seek pledges and donations for this fundraiser. Envelopes and money should be turned in by Monday March 5, 2010. Students will be awarded special prizes based on their pledge amounts collected. The class who reads the most minutes during this week will receive a pizza party. The top student fundraiser in the school will be awarded a family membership to the National Aquarium in Baltimore, MD. The top fundraiser in each grade will win one free admission ticket with an IMAX movie to the Science Museum of Virginia in Richmond. Prize Levels
Teacher Wish ListsTeacher Favorite Things Wish Lists are now available. Search for your child's teacher in the folder "Teacher Favorite Things" below. Lists are organized alphabetically by teacher last name.
After-School Enrichment ClubsMath 24 Club: The club is only offered to third - fifth graders. The club will meet Tuesdays from 8 a.m. until 8:45 a.m. for a six week session on the following days: January 12 January 19 January 26 February 2 February 9 February 16 You must walk you child to Room 11 each club date and sign in your child. At 8:45 a.m. your child will be released to go to their homeroom. PTO Minutes and Budget Update AvailableThe monthly minutes from the September and October meeting and the October budget report are now available, below in the Group Files section.
